It’s outrageous and tragic. It’s a basic right but treated like a privilege here. Richest country in the world with people living on the streets. We do so much victim blaming here too.

And the government lives in another dimension. Telling people they “shouldn’t” spend more than 30% of their income on housing. And we don’t get basic income here. Government benefits are measly. I’m convinced they don’t truly think people need help.[emoji20]
