Thank you @mote.of.soul for pictures, I think I can find those and I hope they will block the noise to at least some level. I have silicone ear plugs but they are not really comfortable for longer wear.

I don't think the noise is from construction site, as those constructions last for 2 years and pretty much I know how it sounds. They usually end by 4 or 5 pm. What bothers me is how aren't the other people so agitated like me? I mean someone had to know or recognize who are those who make the noise, it's buildings and windows all around you can't hide from people especially if you make such noise. I heard people who are complaining about that noise, but how is that no one yet saw who does this and did something about, like turning them to police? I just have to accept I can't do anything about it and I will spend another Holidays alone surrounded by horrible noise, explosions and other people celebrating. like I am not sad and depressed and anxious enough, I need to feel like I am in the middle of war too.

Thanks for trying to help, I guess I will have to stock on earplugs of different kinds and see what works best.
