if you look up at the notice in this section you will see this - "No religious talk whatsoever is allowed here in this specific forum, including but not limited to church, clergy, the Bible, etc. Thank you."

and if you read in this thread No religious talk on this forum

you will see this - "This means no religious talk is allowed -- no specific religious figures, texts, etc. will be permitted here. Please see the note about Social Groups to find where such religious discussion occurs within this community."

So for example - crystals are popular sigil that people in general of all spiritual beliefs feel have good or bad or no magical powers.

no problem there right.

but then when you look closer you realize that crystals (popular sigil) are used in various religions.

here's where the problems arise and has come up in the past.

because religious objects cannot be discussed here in this forum, I cannot discuss my crystals collection and how I use them or what they do for me.

another popular sigil (item of power and healing) is a person's bible, or their cross or their rosary or their... the list goes on. No problem right...

but then you look above the forum, and you see that according to the statements and thread posted at the top of this forum all these things cannot be discussed here on the boards. Discussions like that tend to end up leading to hurt feelings and fighting amongst the members posting here.

example... if I post about my crystals and how I believe or don't believe they have healing powers for me. then someone else comes along saying that's hogwash, devils work and so on...

Suddenly you have a forum meant for well wishing, good thoughts, spiraling downhill as each person tries to defend their individual religions and the talismans / sigils/ objects that bring them comfort and others going against those they feel is the work of evil bla bla bla...

open conversations about sigils / religious objects / specific religions have been tried here and I remember well the chaos that happened, those of us that were here back then were very glad when this forum got changed away from religions / talismans / sigils and so forth.

Doc John was kind enough to help those who want to discuss things like sigils, religious objects / specific religions, still be able to do that, just not here in the spiritual forum.....

How to Find Religious Social Groups!

Anyone can go into the social groups; find the group they want to join and discuss these things or start their own social group.

or they can search the internet for a forum / group that does discuss those things. there are literally thousands of sites, forums and groups out there for and about sigils.
