The short answer is I cannot. Anyone that does not respond to reasonable arguments, that is deeply entrenched in a belief, whether valid or invalid, arguments and reasons do not usually change someone's mind. Someone has to be open to change and willing to sacrifice their cherished belief to hear other possibilities.
Too often a person who refuses to be open minded cannot be reached by reason when their beliefs are based on deep-seated emotions.
