I see a lot of you are preparing for this awful stor
! Here it will be a lot of rain but frigid temps once the rain is gone. Today 50 degrees, tomorrow it starts at 50 degrees in the am and then by evening it will be around 20 degrees! The water will be flash freezing on the road and it will turn to black ice very quickly. Over the weekend it will be low twenties with terrible wind chill. We are not going anywhere on Christmas Eve so at least we won’t be outside for that!

Unfortunately CR’s Guinea pig Herbert did die yesterday. I was about to take him to the vet today to be put down because he was obviously miserable but nature took its course. At least the poor thing’s not suffering anymore. CR was very sad and crying and really wanted a New Guinea pig but because he doesn’t take care of the other one except for feeding and watering we said no. We will likely get a tropical fish tank. I used to keep them as a teenager/young adult and I really love them. We’ve never had space but without Herbert’s cage on top of the dresser we can put a fish tank there. I’m excited. CR was placated by this.

Work is going ok, I’m just waiting for 1:15 on Friday for winter break to start! Only 1.5 days!
