-4F, feels like -27 (wind chill) with about 3 inches of snow.
My heatpump is on aux heating which means it changed over to the internal heat strips to heat the house. They gulp electricity. House is set to 63F but noticed it is only 60F in here. Have my electric fireplace going in my family room & my bedroom upstairs. My kitty, Gabe is curled up in my chair trying to stay warm. Good day for baking. Had the water dripping in my kitchen to keep pipes from freezing. Dripped it into my plant watering container so I wouldn't waste water. This is definitely a frigid winter storm system that has hit the US
