For me, it always comes back around to the basics.

-Someone kind that I can talk to about almost anything, and enjoy a laugh with, most of the time.

-A roof over my head and enough money to buy lots of food, if I want to.

-We now have a second car on the road this Christmas, and it's a honey. It's given me a great measure of freedom back again.

-More reasonable gas prices, to go along with that last one.

-Our health is good; and now, going into old age, I have a dermatologist I like very much.

-Our cozy, warm home, and pleasant neighbours on either side.

-Wonderful friends and acquaintances who are some of the kindest and bravest people I've ever met.

-And, finally, enough smarts to never get taken-in, ever again.
