CosmicPlatypus, I struggle with social anxiety. I do a lot of self talk and try to remember to breath. I also don't force myself into situations where I might have a problem. If I am feeling strong I will go socialize, if not, I give myself permission to relax. Take some time and try to relax and work on healing--hopefully your pdoc can offer some guidance.
