Earlier this week I had minor work done on my car that didn't take long to do. I was the only one in the waiting room. They had a large-screen TV and it was pretty loud. I don't know what program it was, but it was some kind of adventures in skiing. But then there were commercials that seemed to be done in a "public service announcement" type format; and the commercials were from the company I was doing business with. It seemed like the commercials were louder than the skiing show. I've heard on regular TV that the volume is turned up for commercials, which is why commercials seem louder than the shows.

I find that television's volume turned up loud is annoying even if I like the show.
