It was mostly a joke about “American way”. Mote. of. soul explained in a subsequent post that he was just being funny.
It does play louder here though than in Europe. I travel to Europe several times a year and in general nothing is as loud. I’ve been to medical facilities there many times (not car shops though), there is nothing playing usually or something very quiet. I think and in my experience people watch tv here more so they watch it in the doctors offices too, which is weird. Maybe for distraction but it’s annoying
