Attempting to charge it again, as well as charging up the new laptop completely, need to keep this laptop going until I got all passwords moved onto new laptop

just got peeped at again by it cause it forgot the charger was there, had to wiggle the charger to get it to remember the charger was there

do computers have long term memory and short term memory like humans do?
