Jesyka in the UK we have a place called Citizens Advice, it’s a free place to go and get information and advice on legal matters (not necessarily with a solicitor but sometimes) is there anything like this in the US? Maybe American members know somewhere?

I think you’re probably right that you won’t be able to be entitled to be added to his account but in the event you do get an income either job or benefits it would be wise to open an account just in your name to have independence.
