You’re right about what you said. The law in Ca. us a 50/50 state. He took the copies I got from the bank which is weird. My therapist thinks it’s because I’ll loose the paperwork with sensitive financial information on it.

I’ll get more copies & hide them. I might need that info one day. Hopefully the bank manager can provide copies again.
