I'm glad you've got a friend - I do believe that sometimes honesty is the best policy in cases like this.

Does your school (assuming you're in school) have a counsellor or someone to talk to?

If your friend finds out that you're still actively SIng, she may tell your parents. She might also be able to help you find professional help to deal with this (if your parents refuse to do anything).
