Hi WWW, today I'm ever so slowly getting geared up to simply go downtown and walk about. Bus pass in hand, I'll have a couple of places to check on, get a loaf of bread on my way back home, and later tonite watch an indie movie.
It promises rain. OK, I have an umbrella.
First lower stress day since Thanksgiving (late Nov.). Part of today's fun is working out a minor art project to make a postcard to send to a new possible indie film buddy because she hasn't texted or emailed me and I don't have her contacts. Except I know where she works. Ha Ha. Mostly, it's doodling around with google presentation.
The Gracian quote I'm mulling has to do with attending to one's natural gift for discovery. It's called curiosity and observation. Though Mitch Miller hinted at karaoke in the 50s with his bouncing ball to help people sing along (my family never did), it took a Japanese musician and record store owner to observe that people hummed along with songs on his soundtrack. What if we take popular songs' instrumental tracks without the recorded vocals and let people sing!
I'll report if I discover anything meandering today.
