I've seen the questions and they cover whether you are someone who receives benefits, are a veteran, etc., because often the state or federal government gives incentives to businesses to employ people who identify as such and the information is also used to provide statistical information to government entities.

If the ad identified specific hours and you didn't put that kind of availability on your application, then it wouldn't be unusual for them to not respond. Also if they are looking for 20 hours in a week and you give an availability of 12 or 15 hours, they wouldn't bother responding in that case either.

Try to read the availability requirements carefully before you apply and apply only to jobs you fit into and you'll have more success. Also, you need to be putting in multiple applications because waiting for each one to be accepted/rejected/not responded to is always going to be disappointing and cause you to spend a lot of time not employed.
