Yes, be neutral and stick to your plan with her. I used to literally imagine that my mind was a train on a track when I dealt with my mom when she was "stuck" or being her...less than lovely self.
I'm so, so glad you're feeling better and more optimistic!
It's cute that CR got his grandma to take him to the arcade  I'm sure they'll both have fun!
