Yes, I was on Caplyta. It's a new med for bipolar depression and it's supposed to help with intrusive thoughts. I didn't stay on it, only because it didn't help lift my depression. Keep in mind that any medication, even otc meds, has a 100 potentially creepy side effects. Remember that if even 1 person on the med has something go wrong that thing has to be reported. Is Caplyta the new med you're taking? I'm excited for you! I think it may be a really good med for you. |
I don't know what the name of the new drug is as pdoc wants to hold off on starting it and I forget what she said it's called. My friend Caleb saw a commercial for Caplyta on tv. And he read all the side effects to me. Sounds like every side effect that all the other brain drugs have, but it's very possible Caplyta is what pdoc wants to prescribe. So far I'm a week off Haldol and no issues.
