I have always felt embarrased by the neglect many of you suffered after katrina...We are all Americans and that uncomfortable feeling only blushed more as we freely shipped off care to hundreds of thousands of others throughout the world as our own house was crumbling...

I have relatives in the deep south and have offered and given my help in a variety of ways...

You are a proud people who have been humbled greatly by a power so much bigger than all of us...

You will all rise again,,better for your trials and I can only hope and pray that our government has learned to pick up after ourselves before we look for kudos from the world about our giving...
