I baked two things in preparation for some friends visiting this weekend. The first is a Bishop's bread, which is an egg-white intensive sweet bread with chopped hazelnuts, lemon essence, and chocolate chunks. The other is a lemon cake that I also baked in a loaf pan. The lemon cake was only in order to use the leftover egg yolks that I didn't use in the Bishop's bread.
Breakfast and lunch were leftovers. For dinner...not sure yet, even though it's already after 6 pm. Maybe some Chinese appetizers. Lunch was big enough.
