I am so sorry, wfc. Ugh. But, what I'm thinking is that you may have been feeling mentally unwell because you were getting sick. I have definitely had times when I thought I was rapidly heading for a breakdown and it turned out that I was getting physically sick.
Take good care of yourself, and I sure hope your illness passes quickly
