Starting Monday, I have a set schedule & guaranteed 40 hours a week, with weekends off. I had been working anywhere from 24 to 40+ hours a week with a schedule that changed day to day & 1 day off weekly.

It’s good, because I am so much a creature of habit & now I can get into a routine. But it is also a huge change & I am worried that it won’t be sustainable for my current office because our work volume is so low.

I also feel like I don’t deserve it and it feels unreal. I’m much more comfortable with negative things happening. It’s like waiting for the other shoe to drop—like, what’s the catch?
