at age 42 you wouldnt think these kind of issues would
by a problem but working in a factory it may as well be a
jr high in fact after 18yrs with the company Ive lost my job for agressive behavour after being provoked (I told a guy he was full %#@&#! and being a %#@&#! ) for using med restrictions
as a excuse not to back me up and not having the balls to tell me leaveing me 4 hours behind he had no problem doing his job and yes he was asigned to back me up , now
it may sound like a cope out and not taking respocsiblilty
for my actions but he new I had add and the company
felt I must be a risk because this , even after being fired He was fired for going around bragging he got me fired and
telling the wrong people he ment to I dont know what he said to security but he made it sound like I was going to kill him but in thruth after was the one to end it and wanted know part of it ,right now my union is working on getting my job back ,I work in a very large company and the people who investigated the conflict and the people who fired me
didnt know me its been a real nite mare , The ivestigators are all ex police officers and they treated me as though I was giuty and would not listen to me all they herd was the threatening langage ,so there for I must have threatened him also (he said I was threatened to kill him) with know witnesses to what I said just people said they saw me raise my voice but didnt hear what I said ,im screwed and I believe had the company not been bias again mentle illness I would not have been treated this way so from my stand point think twice about who knows you have ADD
OBW ive been treated for ADD since 1991 and believe I am
more then capable at work and have provin it for eighteen yrs , prey for me

Wow David, that sounds like a really stressful situation. Sorry about that happening.

I'll admit I can't really follow all of what your saying, but I think your situation is that you were accused of threatening to kill someone at work, when really you just used profanity, and the internal investigators made the claim without evidence other than hearsay, so they fired you, correct?

Well David, it's probably not much help, but consider this-- you worked for a company that you saw treated people unfairly. You didn't like your coworkers, and probably with good reason. I'd take this as an opportunity to do something else with your life that fits you better. You could always go to college too, if you feel your skillset isn't up to par for the jobs you would like. Community colleges often have good 1-2 year trade programs that can make you more marketable, and---far more valuable to the workforce and therefore, more difficult to fire. Often, if you call the financial aid department, they will guide you in getting student loans and government grants so that you don't have to pay out of pocket until after you graduate, and grants you don't have to pay back.

I'd see this as your opportunity to leave the losers in the dirt, and get on with your life.
Good luck David.
