Deep breathing to me is different although I am not an expert. Deep breathing is engaging the diaphragm. It doesn't necessarily require me to hold my breath. Breathing where I see my tummy go in and out as I inhale and exhale.

Oh I thought that WAS deep breathing, holding it for a few seconds both inhaling and exhaling.
Don’t even know where the diaphragm is and don’t want to know lol. Air here is very dry with wind and a high pollen count. So breathing deep isn’t comfortable at the moment.
