My T encouraged me to see a pdoc too. It took her awile to get me to agree to go. My T went with me to the very first appointment...well...she went with the one who needed to go (DID involved here). This made a huge difference. My T and pdoc practice in the same building/company; T is a partner and pdoc is not, so is sort of an employee of my T's...this made it much easier for T to accompany me. Would T going with you or maybe talking to ou right before and then right after, be helpful...or even possible?
