Sometimes I get anxious about being anxious. Then it spirals downward after that. I just want the night to end so I can get up already as bedtime isn’t what it used to be: Reprieve and escape. Thanks to an upstairs neighbor who’s a night owl and the effing laminate flooring they use now instead of carpet, I get awakened or find it harder than usual to nod off.
