Maybe this belongs in Health, I dunno....but now it's not just businesses and politicians who call with "prerecorded" messages -- I am recently dx'd diabetic and I just got one of those messages at WORK saying "We've heard you or someone you know was recently dx'd diabetic. You can get your supplies for FREE!" blah blah blah. I hung up.

No matter what kinds of these calls you get, how do you get rid of them? This one was obviously targeted -- I don't know where they got my name -- I'd think it'd be illegal to get it from my doctor or ins. co.! Politicians and businesses just random-dial.

I *never* send in registration cards, and I got my glucose meter, etc for free from the dr., so they couldn't have found me that way.

I don't think we can add our business lines to our state's "do not call" list.
