But when I reach .5mg daily (p.m.) I will leave it there for a long time, probably 6 months. Then I'll start shaving off a tiny bit. I'll do that until I'm at about 2.5mg. From there, I'll see how it's going.

I have high hopes of being able to completely get off K-pin, but I have a long way to go. So I'm looking at about a year (at least) until I even reach the possibility of being benzo-free. I would very much like to do the Ashton Method, but good luck finding a prescriber who will agree to it.

With benzos it's that last bit that is the rough part. How long have you been on Valium?
I've been on it for about five years, 5mgx3 scheduled.

When I was taken off clonazepam the withdrawal lasted about four months total (until my ****** pdoc at the time put me on gabapentin). I noticed the withdrawal lasted in two waves.

I wish you good luck in getting benzo free. I know from experience how hard and horrible it is!

Thank you for the support
