Sometimes I become acutely aware of how much medication affects my mind and body. For example, oftentimes I can't determine my body temperature. When I woke up I could tell the heater was on too high because my breathing felt stuffy. I had a vague feeling of my upper arms being too warm. So I turned off the heat and opened the windows pretty wide. It's 7 a.m., 42 degrees. So I know it must be chilly in here, but I can't truly feel it.
I guess what I'm saying is that I have to feel extremely hot or extremely cold; anything moderate and my body feels so numbed-out that I can't gauge the temperature. I assume it's the AP (Zyprexa) that causes the numb feeling. Kind-of like being wrapped in cotton batting.
