Welcome to the forum, JimWriter. I don't bite my nails, but I've caught myself biting my fingers sometimes when I get nervous.

Just looked nail biting up online, and found this: http://www.onychophagia.com/ There might be something there that helps. (Looking at the "remedies" page, some of the suggestions there are quite similar to the ones for stopping hair pulling - that's what I'm trying to quit.)
