He looks and is otherwise very healthy for his age. He doesn’t look old. His coat is in great shape.

Ohhh, I thought of you and Sir this afternoon and wondered how his appointment had gone. Poor dear Sir. I hope it's only age causing his blindness. When I was a little girl one of my mother's elderly cats was blind. Back in those days cats seemed to be outdoors, mostly, and my mom's two cats lived outside under the kitchen window, even the blind one. And they lived to be 20 and 21 years old!
