I just got back from the vets. Sir is blind. I thought his vision was impaired but she said he’s blind. That explains why he no longer looks at the rabbits and -squirrels outside. I called him the other day, singing out rabbit. He came and walked up to the window and even though there was a rabbit sitting right there he turned and walked away. She said he may have a tumor, to watch for seizures and indications of pain. She gave me pain meds but he’s shown no signs of pain. Because of his years they don’t recommend any more invasive treatments or X-rays. Poor guy. He’s doing sooo very well for being blind. She said he probably sees shadows. He looks and is otherwise very healthy for his age. He doesn’t look old. His coat is in great shape.
