cause the original idea i believe for hunchback of notre dame was they was originally going to have her get executed by Frollo, the hunchback not being able to save her in time, but they decided it wasnt going to work or something cause in the book pretty much all of the characters die and disney didnt want to have all the good people in the film die as well as Frollo
