When I lived on Long Island, we would get cicadas every August. Same thing every year. You'd find them here and there.... Now that I live in the city, no more cicadas-- waterbugs instead! What a trade off! I'd take the cicadas anyday bc they don't come inside the house. However, I was wondering if someone could explain the 17-year thing to me. What do you mean by that?

Eskie, I have never been in a situation like that, but judging by your description and picture, I can only imagine how horrible that is-- I detest insects.
