Sometimes a med needs a certain time period before it starts showing noticeable symptom relief although it is working at some level to provide healing.

Sometimes a med is not at a sufficient therapeutic dosage to be effective or fully effective.

Sometimes after a sufficient trial period a med not working needs to be augmented with another medication or a medication switch needs to take place.

And sometimes psychotherapy is needed to reduce stressors that prevent a med from working properly.

You probably already know all this. Sorry.

I don't know what your situation is so I am in the dark there. But I am so very, very sorry you are not getting good symptom improvement. That can be so demoralizing and draining. Wish I knew what to say to help you!
Well said, @Yaowen

Have you spoken to your doc about it, @jesyka ?

Sometimes I get incredibly anxious that my meds aren’t working. This usually happens whenever I feel the beginnings of a strong fluctuation in my mood or when my sleep is knocked off as that’s usually the first thing I notice when becoming unwell. But I have remained well for over a year now so something is working. My anxiety is still there though

I hope you are doing as well as possible!
