I remember reading that causes a release of “feel good chemicals.” And it can become an addiction. I was cutting, for a couple of years along time ago. It only helped things temporarily, and soon I was right back in the bad place. And I did feel like I was getting addicted to it. Do anything you can to stop. It doesn’t really help anything, and it just gives you scars that strangers look at and wonder about. Or they already know what it is and they judge you badly.
