No, not the Australian soap but mine.

They have child (2 1/2). Her father has described her as "headstrong, just like her mother".

Apart from the excessive noise, due in part to his deafness, child has started screaming when she doesn't get her own way. This has now started in early hours (0100), could be effect of nightmares at that hour. Then there's usually a repeat performance around 0615 and at other times during day at weekends.

Talking to friend on social media on Friday evening, I voiced my opinion. Am not usually this open but put it down to sleep deprivation.

Came home yesterday evening to find note through door and a bag of sweets. It explained that child was "experiencing big emotions and they were helping her work through it". The rest of the note was about me being more understanding and they now the walls are thin. Strangely there was nothing overnight, unless my large gin blocked everything out, lol!

So why is she left to scream for at least 10 minutes before either parent decides to respond. If not immediately soothed, she's running through the apartment screaming, opening/closing drawers, jumping up and down. This often continues outside when she leaves home with mother to go to nursery.

Have not responded yet as decided to make them wait. They'll be getting the sweets back only because I don't like white chocolate and obviously left over from Easter. No doubt she'll want to turn it round but I'm not apologising.

Have spent part of this morning locking my social media account, changing profile, username, etc. If they or someone they know isn't reading my posts then timing is a massive coincidence.... again!
