I wish I had some insights to share but sadly I am at a loss.

I've read somewhere that not all compulsive behaviors are the result of OCD. My memory is a little a foggy but I seem to remember that some compulsive behaviors are like addictions or impulse control issues.

I could be wrong though and my memory is not all that good.


Hopefully someone here with more knowledge, experience and wisdom will see your post and respond with something helpful.

Sometimes when I am watching a movie, I find myself kind of biting down on my thumb especially if the film is very suspenseful.

Sometimes it leaves a little dint there for awhile. So it will be interesting to read what others share here.
