With Ozempic, I started losing weight even while I was still on Zyprexa, but several months later my pdoc switched me to weight-neutral Latuda, to my delight. I also do personal training (strength training). I weigh the same as 10 years ago, but my body shape is far better thanks to strength training.
I have talked to both medical weight loss doctor and internist and they concur that for weight loss, you need strength training. Aerobic exercise is good for mental health benefits, but not for weight loss.
Good luck counteracting the weight gain! It is possible.

I heard that about Ozempic, but isn’t it expensive? We have no insurance now. How much weight did you loose? I heard that yoi gain everything back & more after you stop taking it.
