Hopefully, if the doc feels this is truly TD, he has already taken you off those meds.

Usually, true TD is associated with the older anti-psychotic, although almost all atypicals also list it as a possible side effect. TD can be a permanent disability so I would not fool around trying to determine why you are getting this, just get off the meds.

Of course, that being said, when I was on thorazine many, many years ago, I developed a few "tics" along with some involuntary eye movement and was given the med "cogenten", which really helped.
