Hi @Rincewind I am sorry you are feeling your life is disrupted and have considered extreme steps to alter your body. Many people who are young experience increasing energy. It is part of life.
I think libido is also the energy of life. The older this body gets the less energy it has. Finding appropriate ways to channel energy is challenging. These are some things that help me.
Avoid watching movies and TV as there are many suggestions on there.
Eat less meat because that seems to increase libido
Eat lots of vegetables
Avoid a high carb diet and eliminate sugar
Avoid coffee and other stimulating drinks
Avoid intoxicants
Exercise and practice yoga
Do exercises that ground the energy like 5 minute Tai Chi on youtube.
What works for me as an older person may not work for you. Have you considered talking to medical doctors or pharmacist to see if they have any suggestions.
