I fear she's depressed  . We thought this was all just anxiety, but with the constant suicidal thoughts I'm starting to think depression as well. I'll talk to my husband about it and see what he says. Soph DOES NOT like talking about it!

Depression can be cured, but it is not enough with medication and talking therapy. To have a good environment at school and other places can be important as well.
Please don't press her to talk to you as long as she has a therapist, but encourage her to continue therapy. Search for motivating books at Amazon that perhaps can help her to see hope for herself.
The most important is that she understands that depression is not unique for her, but common and that many people has healed from in and more will do so in the future.
