It’s depressing and unsettling.
I’m not sleeping well. Waking up a lot. Then too early in the morning and unable to get back to sleep.
I may be able to move in June but that too is not ideal. Tiny, very tiny, and no laundry. Have to park outside on a lower lot. But it is affordable.
I’m quite sad and discouraged about the future

Sounds difficult re: the house. Maybe try to almost view it as a stranger's house now? Just a space.
Re: the potential apartment - small spaces can be okay if they're organized well. Is the place updated and well managed? Is it easy walking distance to a grocery store and pharmacy? Is it on the ground floor, or if on an upper floor is there an elevator? Is it safe? Have there been any break-ins?
Those are some of the things I look at, anyway. Insuite laundry is fairly rare here but I tend to like the buildings that don't have the laundry in the basement. And that it is well-lit and has enough machines.
