I hope you will find the performance rewarding...and fun. I danced in many recitals in the past, including one I mostly choreographed. The audience had well over 100 people. Once I even danced in front of around 100 people in China P.R.C. when on a cultural study experience. The key is to dance for the music, and yourself. The aaudience could be made almost invisible during the performance.

When I was travelling India with my ex-wife, we tried to avoid hotels and went into couch surfing. In Ahmedabad, our host took us to the school fair of his daughter. All of a sudden, we were anounced as "two professional tango dancers from Belgium" ... we danced on trekking shoes on a concrete floor
. Not my best performance but one of my fondest tango memories.
