Had a good appointment with my therapist. Discussed how volunteering is going. Told her about the peer specialist thing I plan on doing, she said that would be great and that I would be really good at it. Also talked about the dissociation for awhile and some grounding techniques and ideas for when it happens. She said sometimes the brain just splits off from panic and dissociates to numb you when you have trauma in order to kind of make you not feel the panic but it often just makes things worse.
