I went in to my drop-in today and it was hardly worth it, it was so disappointing. It's very hit-and-miss there, depending on who is in. I guess it killed time and was a diversion. I didn't stay long. I had a joke to tell when the issue of the Earth being flat came up: The proof that the world is not flat is that cats would have pushed everything off it by now! There was no opportunity to say it and the discussion move on to another topic with my joke unsaid. I felt invisible. It's not such a great experience for me there, being the silent one in a group of talkative people. I might have to reconsider it.

Possible trigger:

Not sure what the future holds. Still thinking over euthanasia once my dog goes and it is offered here in Canada. It was supposed to be offered to mentally ill people on this past March 17 but it got delayed for a year for further study. It sounds like they are just working on getting the wording of documents right, not actually debating the issue at this point.

Just not interested in living anymore. Each day i wake up, i am sorry. I'm sleeping or resting most of the day. I'm only active for about six hours. There's lots to do (laundry and cleaning) just nothing i WANT to do.

Losing my younger sister last Fall has made me feel more alone, even tho we weren't in contact. At least i knew she was still in the world.

Bravo on the stellar job driving! It really is a challenge. Taking the bus is a hardship in so many ways, but at least i don't have to drive!

Sorry to hear your IOP is disappointing. I found some of the material specious or silly too.

Glad to hear your pool will be opening soon! I like floating too. It's so therapeutic!
