How will girls view me and my current situation? 27 years old

My ex and I (6.5 years) broke up in august of last year. Since then, I have made big changes in my life. I’ve moved out of state, entirely quit drinking, gotten in fantastic shape, etc (self improvement things). I just turned 27. I made the move so I can go back to school and become a commercial pilot. I already have a bachelors degree, I was a college athlete, and have had other work experience like my current job as an aircraft mechanic. I am an incredible busy and driven individual, and very disciplined when it comes to accomplishing my goals.

However, I worry about how girls will view me/my current situation with going back to school. Although I’m still working, flight school costs a lot of money and I will be relatively broke in the meantime (although the end result will pay off financially). Even though I am very dedicated and driven, I still compare myself to others my age who have a house, wife etc and feel as if I’m behind.

Will girls expect me to be more squared away by now? Or will they care more about the fact that i am goal oriented and going for what I want? Asking for a friend.

What else can I do in the meantime (broke during school) to stay attractive to women?
