Holey moley! A bed for five grand
less? The last mattress I bought cost about $1200 and came with a steel frame and box spring. It wasn't my first choice, either -- there was a firmer mattress I liked even more that was only $800. A few years later we got a solid wood headboard. Anyway, I liked transitioning to the queen size -- the smaller beds aren't long enough for me (except for the extra long twin). I hope you enjoy it!
