Hi @morgydog. I'm sorry to read that you struggle with IBS and pain. Do you see a GI doctor who might help with the IBS? I also hope you will tell your psychiatrist and therapist, if you have them, about any depression. I'll assume you are depressed, from the sound of your post. It may even be likely that any depression exacerbates GI issues. I know it can for me.

I know that depression can bring on isolation, and therefore loneliness. I also know well how it can destroy relationships. But there can be recovery with proper help...and time. And even if we don't have a group around us, we can find satisfaction enough to compensate a bit. But again, depression must be fought away. It is hard, for sure, but it happens.

* Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg
* Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg
* Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 500 mg

I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia.
