Follow up today with my "tummy" doc to let him know how the nexium is working for my heartburn and regurg problems. I will more than likely have to schedule a scope to see how the damage to my esophagus is healing. My "potential" surgery has been cancelled for the time being and this new tummy doc seems to think I won't have to have it. Cross your fingers. 6 months is a long time for full recovery.
