We got over 3 inches of rain last storm & it took out more trees on my farm & neighbors farm. Luckily no fences but glad his cows weren't under the tree when it came down. Mine landed in the road & I was blessed to call the state road dept. They were out in an hour to clear it off the road. Piled along the road until their chipper comes & cleares it totally away. Still have broken branches hanging in the tree. The sky was continually lit up with lightning the last 3 storms we have had the last 2 weeks. Very eerie.
So. Indiana is getting worse storms than we are. Lucky my electric has stayed on. My friend's house across the fields got hit by lightning Sunday morning. Lost 10 trees uprooted in my woods a few months ago in 75 mph straight line winds that destroyed many buildings around here. Thankful no hail this year after getting a new roof & gutters after a bad storm a year ago last May. Worst weather here in 16 years I have lived here
